CONNEAUT

Taking my 22 yr. old son and 77 yr. old father fishing on Veterans Day,(THANKS TO ALL VETS),we are thinking of putting our boat in Conneaut. Any suggestions or word on whats hitting would be a great help.

Didn't do too well on the Bluegills this last time out...only 4 keepers. (7"-9") But on the other hand that's 80 keepers for the last 4 trips...not too bad. Those "Bull" Bluegills like the weeds.... you catch one and they go straight to the bottom.

Ymess, the lake turned over. Thats why the bite died off, well it did not die off. The fish just have moved where the bait went (and you must not be where the bait went), this time of the year it could be anywhere. Remember when a lake turns over the o2 is almost teh same throughout the water depths, giving freedom for bait to move where they please, and preditors will follow.
