18th st dock is gone for season

S. Side ramp is open but no dock till spring

    Does the ramp ever actually close, or is it use at your own risk.

    They only close it during events or floods

    They even plow there in the winter. I think in case they need to use if for emergency vehicles.

    you can use all the ramps, just no docks. can be a bit tricky depending on the current and the size of your boat. i find it best/easiest to wear waders and use a portable ski ladder to hop in and out before scraping bottom. use lots of boat bumpers also. just sayin'

    Further up the Mon can anyone tell me if there is a dock at the New Eagle Park near the sewage plant(don't remember the name) or at the Speers ramp?

    Docks were out of the water a month ago at New Eagle!

    If you are at New Eagle, just go up to the ramp above Monongahela. Just be careful of the rocks at the end of the dock.
