Bald Eagles

I was going fishing last week and saw the pair of bald eagles in Glenwillard below the Dashields dam. They both flew towards Sewickley. They nested but produced no hatchlings this year, hopefully next spring.

    Seen a few this year, 1st 1 was along the Conemaugh River near Johnstown, 1 near Freeport on the Allegheny, another near Apollo along the Kiski, and the latest 1 a few weeks ago near where 79 crosses the Ohio, its the most i've ever seen in a year or better yet, my life.

    there are 2 mature bald eagles in pt marion that i see all the time..they are pretty shy they fly away as u get within hundred yrds of them. i have managed to take a few pics of them, also a very large golden eagle roams around the area as well and few ospreys.. everytime im fishin the area im allways lookin for them anymore, with the leaves almost off the trees they are easier to spot from a distance.

    WORK HARD.....FISH HARDER !

    I saw one at Crooked Creek earlier in the year. Saw it come down and take a fish out of the water, that was a pretty cool thing to see.

    Saw one while fishing the beach section above Ohiopyle.
    First time for me, it was quite a sight.
