FISH PASSAGE FACILITY (fish ladder) AT FOUR MILE CREEK


A fish passage facility (fish ladder) has been installed by the PA Fish & Boat Commission at the Lawrence Park Golf Club dam (north side) and is operational.  The following regulations apply to all Commonwealth fish passage facilities, including the fish ladder at the Lawrence Park Golf Club dam, and will be STRICTLY ENFORCED:
 
 
  • "It is unlawful for any person to fish within any fishway, chute, slope, fish ladder, fish lift, or other fish passage facility located on or in connection with any dam on the waters of the Commonwealth."

 
  • [color=#cc0000 size=3]"It is unlawful for any person to fish in an area within a radius of 100 feet of the entrance or exit points from any fishway, chute, slope, fish ladder, fish lift or other fish passage facility located on or in connection with any dam on the waters of the Commonwealth."
 

NOTE: At this time, fishing is not permitted in Four Mile Creek between the Lawrence Park Golf Club dam and Route 5.  TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED.
