Finally happened...

well tonight I made a bad shot on a doe... no idea what happened but it hit way far back. Never made what I would call a "bad" shot on a deer but this was terrible. It should have been a slam dunk shot but now I gotta give her til morning and hope for the best. Bad feeling knowing what I did, was bound to happen sooner or later but no excuses.

Wish me luck... I'll post what I find tomorrow

    That is too bad about the bad shot, but at least you made the right call and let it lay for a while. Hope the rain holds out for you so you can find her. Did you find the arrow? Where do you think you hit her?

    If you didn't push her she shouldn't go far. Hope you have someone to help, always nice to have a set of eyes ahead and an arrow ready on some of those ones.

    Better too far back, than too far forward.
