Fair price if that is all that is wrong. +1 on the survey.

If that were a straight inboard Bluntman would have it sitting in his driveway right now. Bluntman can tell you whatever you want to know about that boat, and probably even owned it at one time. Good guy to have do a gimble bearing if you're not going to do it yourself too.

First off , alot of marine surveyors coudlnt pour pizz out of a boot, if the directions were on the heel, people put way too much faith in surveys, most of the ones Ive seen miss plenty, rotted wood especially, your much better off to find a good marine tech to check it out, the ONLY way to verify condition of wood coring material is to drill test bores and see what comes out on the bit, gimble bearings only go bad for a few reasons, lack of maintainence,  water in the boot, alignment problem either from lack of maintainence or sag due to rotten stringers or mounting sister boards, Ive owned a pile of Penn Yans and they built a decent boat, all hand laid glass, no chopper guns, Most of the stringers were Doulas Fir which is decently rot resistant and the finish work was better than the typical production boat, Im in the area if you want me to do a preliminary looksee for you
