Propsal for using 3 lines ====

From the quarterly meeting of the PFBC ==

Here's your chance to voice your opinion ==

Approved the publication of a notice of proposed rulemaking which would allow anglers to fish with three lines. The current regulations limit anglers to fishing with no more than two lines at one time. The public will have 60 days to provide comments.     I took that from today's PFBC press release so it is NOT OLD NEWS..

    it's on the agenda for the next meeting after public comments get tallied...

    I would not have posted it if it were "old news"

    Why not allow it? You can fish with 5 thru the ice.

    That article was back in May.. I reported here back then the same thing.. I was at the meeting...
    this is October and this is a different meeting and the subject is up for consideration again...

    Just sent in a no to this proposal. lure fishing from shore is tough enough with 2 lines per angler plunked. 3 lines would just make it tougher. While increasing opportunities for some fisherman it would decrease or eliminate fishing for others.
    -Nothing wrong w/ plunking. I do it if thats what the fish want. Sometimes the fish want lures and I don't think it is alright to cast over others lines and tangle them.
    -This is not a problem ice fishing.
