? about the walleye

I'm reading alot on the boards about the "chrome" Steelies, but don't see anything about the Walleye. I'm not into the Steelie fishing just yet, but love the Walleye n Perch, so my question is.....is there still decent fishing for Walleye on the lake? and can anyone send me a PM on where their at if so. I'm coming up Saturday for the day(weather permitting for the 16'er)Thanks in advance!

Walleyes are scattered and making their move west....still some to be caught, but don't expect limits. The perch out of Conny is the way to go right now IMHO. Good Luck

Like already said, walleye are scattered... we were up last weekend, we did catch some, but not our limits like we were able to before the big waves a few weeks ago.
The lake temp is 10 degrees less than 3 wks ago..
Perching is great though... nice size to them and very aggressive bite when you find them.

Post on E.P.S.F.A. for today states a four man limit of eyes in the trench today. go to www.epsfa.com this is a "pay membership club" for $15 a year you get mostly boat trolling reports on the reports page and reports from some of the captains fishing off of Erie. The Club is working with other clubs in the area to also get a trophy Brown Trout program established along the PA shores of Lake Erie which a part of the dues goes towards. Good club and good info
