Help - Peters Twshp Lake

Long time reader, first time poster.. need a bit of help.  My 4yr old wants to go fishing tomorrow and I'm thinking of hitting Peters Township Lake.  My only problem is, I need to find a bait shop near by, can anyone direct me to one?  I will be coming from the Carnegie area.  Thanks in advance.


I'm not a new fisherman at all, just a transplant from the Latrobe area, so not too used to the Pittsburgh area fishing. 


Also, if anyone fishes Chartiers Creek in the Heidelberg area, maybe I'll wet a few lines with you.  I fish there often.  Usually catch Walleye, Sauger, Catfish, Bass, and Sheephead.

Not sure about where to get bait, but my brother takes his 9 year old son there and catches bluegills, largemouth and rock bass. They have a lot of fun and rarely get skunked. Hope you have the same luck.

thanks guys, ended up stopping at a gas station for night crawlers.. she caught a sunfish on her first cast!  ended up catching 3 more.  fed the ducks some worms and all was fun.
