    Now that's a great picture!
    I know where that was taken but I won't spot burn,however the intials JH is a hint :)
    We were there a few years ago when it was fast and furious.There was a father daughter couple fishing below us,the girl was 8-10 yrs old.She was standing on a rock that jutted into the stream a bit.While concentrating on a fish at the end of my line I heard a loud splash,looked down and there is the little girl in the water up to her waist battling a King,it pulled her off the rock!With her dad's help and alot of loud cheers from others she got that fish in the net,it's one of those things that make fishing the SR memorable.

    actually not the spot you are thinking of but a good assumption. about a mile upstream from there.my son was thrilled watching everyone hook up and there were about 20 fish on stringers with in the 50 yd. stretch we were fishing. he was ecstatic. i'm heading up again this weekend for about the 5th or 6th in a row... just me and the wife. then i will be skipping next weekend. feel free to stop by though. i'm sure someone will be around next weekend. i may be able to get up during the week while you are there...

    you're getting very close, but i don't think the actual spot has a name. a very overlooked spot that alot of people get scared by just looking at me fish it. it's not a secret, just not really fished. even in peak season. let's say that it is a seem that is about 10 ft. long and about 4 ft. wide that 99 % of every fish that runs the river rest in for a few minutes along side a slate drop off about 2' off the bottom in about 4' of water. i often reside there. oops, i just burned my spot completely lol... if you're up 3 weeks in a row i'll definitely see you... tight lines

    Quite right .. Don't burn it down ...

    Just a B!tch : this is what sucks about internet posting of pictures in my azzhole opinion.. Aboslutly we all want to see fish Pictures.. To me it's all about the capture forever on film or digital that lets us share our memories.. As I have said in the past, if the one posting it did not put up the location why should another feel compelled to ?

    It happened in the Eastern NY board which is why that place is dead ..

    tuna you are completely right. but most should know this spot if they've ever fished the area. i will say that spot is easier said than done if you know what i mean. i will try to not be so specific in the future since it is water that you share in common with me. sorry...

    Nice Dime! The smile on your sons face says it all. My girls are always amazed by the size and numbers of these fish, and can't get over that some of them are as big as they are. Thats also a good spot for browns . . oops . . .sorry about that!!!

    Stress is just one hookset away from being gone.

    Very nice Dime. I cant wait till my kids can go in a few years. I just hope they get the same opportunity we all have now. I am gonna try to make it up next week, but if these pics and reports keep coming in I dont know how much longer I am going to be able to wait. lol
