Recommened hooks to tie Estaz flies...

My father ties a ton of Estaz flies before we go to the river each season. He recently ran out of hooks. He was using Gamakatsu Live Bait hooks. They are really thick with a rather short shank. Not sure if this was the best choice. What are some good hooks that I can buy him to tie the Estaz fly that will hold up to those strong salmon on the river? Looking to order some hooks online, so fire off some websites at me. Oh, and please specify the best size hook to buy.

The Mustad brand is what i prefer also. The nickel plated i also favor over the bronze they seem a little less able to straighten out. As for size, go a little bigger (nothing more than a 2) for early fish, then size down for the mid season due to these fish getting really spooked by the "gaff hooks". Then go bigger again for spawning salmon as they are territorial. If your after trout also, stay with the smaller sizes and switch back to the bronze for trout also. I have used down to size 10 for trout with good success. Good luck.
