cool weather is coming

since we are on the start of good fishing season i was just wondering what are ppl fav walleye tactics for the rivers. you don't have to spot burn and if you don't want to share don't write. i always find it interesting the different tricks ppl use to fill the boat.
Me i like to anchor and cast jigs tipped with leeches or nice size minnies. or just let a bottom rig just sit there with 2 hooks and let the minnies just swim around always seems to work.
i hope you share your tactics it would be nice to get a good walleye thread started on here

REMEMBER HOW MUCH FUN YOUR FIRST BIG ONE WAS. TAKE A KID FISHING

I also use the jig head tipped with a minnow method. Also use wally divers alot. And Mr. Twisters have always worked well too.

Every year the fall walleye bite creates a terrible conflict of interest with archery. But, should archery go as planned for a change this year I would like to spend some more time on the river this fall.

When I do get out I like to use small creek chubs and big fatheads with just a split or two to hold it on the bottom while dragging and popping it. Every now and then I will fish a jig if thats what the fish want, but more often for me a sssslooowww presentation works best in the fall.

the Coolest thing about fall walleye is that you don't need a boat.

    ... well up here.

A suspending plug brought in slowly has given me a lot of excitement during the fall and the winter.

I like to use a bottom bouncer with two feet of line after that. Use floating jig head, light green or yellow, with large crawler.
