Wire line

Being new to Walleye fishing and having a a lot of tackle given too me, wire line is on two of the depth counter reels. My question is, what type of knot is used to attach it to a snap?

    Haywire twist....

google it up.  should be an online flash tutorial showing you how to do it which would be easier than trying to explain it.

Don't use a haywire that works for a spro type inline swivel use this knot for regular 7 strand wire line http://www.lotsa.org/Wire%20Line%20Knot.htm

I use the Haywire on my copper rigs but this wire line knot is simpler and lasts a looong time.

    king,
does that knot work for the old school single strand wire?

L2F, what type of wire is on your reels, multi strand or single strand?

Ya that will work for the single strand, although if it is single strand on your reels don't use them for dipsey duty.
