Neshannock Creek

I know it has been a very bad summer for trout on the freestone streams, but does anyone know if any trout survived in Neshannock Creek?  I am anxious to get in some C&R trout fishing.

Driving by I see lots of people in the creek. Must be catching something.

Email Bob Shuey. A real good guy whether you buy something from him or not. (Although helping the guy out if you are able helps us all.)

The creek is getting low again but the nighttime temps are good, down to 52 last night. Looks like a warm up this coming week and then cooling off again but no rain. Now is the time to start getting everything ready for steelhead!!! With the summer temps mornings are the best time to wet a line and the smallmouth fishing is still OK.

there is still plenty of trout in the neshannock if you know ware to look. i usually fish papermill birdge down to ware it empties into the shenango 2 or 3 times a season its a nice walk, and theres a lot of fish i seen a musky caught out of sinders early this summer and thats 1 1/2 miles from the sheango , also the deeper holes hold nice smallmough and closer to the river beer4less holds walleye in the spring, and you always have a chance of catching a pike, i live 5 minutes away so i usually fish it quite a bit hope that helped

I was at the bridge where the little N flows into the big N last week and saw about 4 in gin clear water. So they are still in there. Like mentioned before bob is a great guy and is always willing to help. He's helped me a ton this year.

yes, there are plenty of fish there, the trout bite is almost non existent, due to the warm water temps. target smallies ans give the trout a break.Head to the Yough.
