RAN OVER MY PLANER BOARD!!!

I was running plugs east of walnut on Saturday morning and had my boards out with only about 75 feet or so of line.  It was windy so we were running them close.  I was the only boat in the world over there.  I notice a boat cruising from walnut area coming on a dead line right at me.  He gets close enough I decide he does not see me.  I decide to wave, yell, and call over the radio "hey are you going to run me over?"  He swerves to avoid us and proceeds to run over one of my boards.  I don't mean he was close...  He ran it over.  With 75 feet of line out I figure the board was about 50 or so feet away from the boat.  Boards are on chartreuse lines with chartreuse clips.  Boards are painted chartreuse.  Very visible.  After an exchange of words the other boater took a picture of my boat and ran around the point.  Looking back I am glad nobody was hurt, but seriously???  If you are out there old guy...  OPEN YOUR EYES!!!

I've been hit by planers while anchored.

I don't always snag fish, but when I do...

You'll probably get a registered letter from his insurance company wanting you to pay for the scratches on his boat...

    Did you catch anything?

Slick...  No damage to the board or line!  Board dove and was gone for half a minute then jumped back up.

Bull... Ya we did OK before and after the hit and run.  As far as a letter, bring it on.  Then I will have all the info needed to report him to the Law.

Even if you didn't have boards, that IDIOT should not of been so close.

My Wife said, if I go fish'n one more time, she'll leave me! God, I'm going to miss her!
