mon musky

Anyone help me get started on the mon.  Live close to it but never fished it before any help with where to launch or fish would help. Mostly musky fish lakes up north. just looking for new water.

the mon is tough for musky. Lots of water, not a ton of fish. But there are some really nice fish if you find a pattern. We used to see a fair few when we were bass fishing. They would be cruising within 20' of shore and near the surface. Never caught one that we saw.

    Thanks,
    Rick

Muskymike, i think there is a list of boat access points/ramps on the mon listed on the fish & boat commission website. You didnt say what area of the Mon your closest to, but should be good access within a short drive if you live near the mon anywhere basically.
