kingston dam

has anyone fished kingston dam recently. i was thinking of giving it a try today. i've only ever fished it once or twice. we always seemed to catch big small mouth. anyone know if there are any for real big fish in there? cats, carp, pike?
what's the bottom like, does it stay rocky or turn to sand and silt?

It is likely full of river rats this time of year.

Creek rats, actually. You can tell if this is the case by the telltale signs: lawn chairs on the dam, empty key light boxes, not-quite-empty wal-mart nightcrawler containers...
