I have both the 10-22 and the M1 Carbine, you're gonna like the carbine when you get it! That little Ruger is a good time to shoot though, and costs a lot less to run brass thru...

    Is it the "Target" model?

I have a guy coming at 2 to look at it so it may not be long before I'm shooting the 30 cal.
No its not the target model with the heavy barrel.
    Thanks for asking though.

I bought a new 10/22 stainless and added about $1400 in parts.
I think alcohol may of been involved in spending around $750 on a used McMillan STC INTIMIDATOR stock. I'm feeling much better now
But it is one sweet shootin gun.
Did almost the same to a 10/22WMR now a .17hmr -on top in photo
Great fun to throw a few golf balls into a dirt field and make them dance with a 50 round clip

Pick your M1 carefully, some shoot well, some don't. See if you can try it on the range before you fork over the cash. If you're going with a military version. Remember they are 60+ years old and many are scabbed together with parts now...
