Lake Maps - Arthur and/or Crooked Creek

Does anyone know where I can find lake maps that show water depths for Crooked Creek and/or Arthur?

I recently moved here and such maps would eliminate alot of wasted time.

Thanks.

You can acquire a lake map at the south shore ranger station for arthur. It is a depth chart.

O'Donnell's Bait Shop on Rt. 19, close to the 422/19 interchange about a mile from Arthur has these as well.  He usually has a few different lakes.  Not sure if Crooked Creek is one.  The Arthur map is made by Fishing Hot Spots.

They are also available for some GPS models in a chip version which overlays on the GPS unit.  Navionics is another brand that has the computer chip, that I have on my GPS.  If you have a boat, it is well worth the purchase.  Kind of pricey new ($100-150), but can find older versions on fishing forum for sale ads for $20-$50.

Here is another one, that you can use on your computer, but can only print the maps (does not transfer to GPS).  I know Arthur is on it, as well as Pymie, Goddard and Yellow Creek.  FishUSA store or a web search might be able to let you know what other local lakes are on it.  If Crooked Creek is a USACE lake, I think it should be on this and many of the GPS maps.

I'd personally pay the few extra bucks to get it from Fish USA, in appreciation for running this forum for free.  Also, likely a few bucks more at a bait shop than Walmart, but who would you really trust more about local fishing knowledge?  The $1-$2 dozen minnows that many rely on baitshops for, aren't going to keep them in business...  Toss the local businessmen a bone, or they'll no longer be there.

I looked at the Navionics link for the maps, but it appears that neither Crooked Creek or Arthur are included..........are you guys sure that Arthur is included?

It is definitely on the GPS chip - Navionics Hot Maps Premium '09 - East.  It is pretty accurate too.

Shoot Navionics a message.  They usually respond within a week.
