Hey Ray - good to see you're still around. I think the steelhead picnic is Oct 2 this year. I think I'll try to make it, haven't been in a few years. Maybe I can have a beer with you, Hed and some of the "old timers". take care.

Good to see that you are still around. Looking forward to hearing more from you. Sad that so many have chosen to no longer participate. It's a shame that so many have droped out for one reason or another. Sure wish they would reconsider and post every once in a while.

I miss much of the input from Flyman, Cr500, Racinray, Dfishinfool, Pappy55, Genieman77, Bughawk, Uncle Goober, ...

I really miss seeing Flymans pictures. Wasn't Uncle Goober the fellow who had the web site and was originally from Canada. I think he also was on the original perch outing with Dfishinfool, Creekcritter and Don's friend John who all had boats.

Dave

What year was that first perch outing?  I was on John's boat and we got caught in the middle of  a heavy thunderstorm out there.

George:    I Would guess it was 2002. I was with dfishenfool and his buddy Jeff and If I remember right we had our 90 perch till you guys ever got out to the perch pack. He pulled anchor and headed out another couple miles for walleyes. We also got caught in that storm and I was the only person who took raingear.

I can remember Dfishinfool, Jeff, Creekcritter, Panfisher, John, Racinary, Beerman, Uncle Goober I think, and I think Bird Dog and his 2 buddies came later. Who am I missing?

I also hope to make the PSA picnic in Oct. I would still recognize Racinray and Beerman and Ironhed but not sure about any other oldtimers. Hopefully maybe I'll run into a few oldtimers there if I make it.

Not sure how I could forget Pappy. I knew why Bughawk and Chauncy no longer posted and still enjoy Chauncy's posts on a couple other sites.

Any one know if eggsac is still around?

I am still around but only read this site maybe twice a year. And I still talk to eggsac. He is doing fine.

I had enough of all the BS that goes on with this site. This'll be the first post in over a year. I find much better company and advice on other boards. If the moderators ever grow a pair and crack down on all the feces that you all sling around I might return.

PittsburghRed has been around for quite a while.  Name is Red Bailey.  Was quite active in District V of the Pa. BASS federation.  Belonged to a number of clubs.  Started the first or second club in western Pa back in the early 70's.  Dropped out of Tournaments and bought a trailer at Sarah Coyne campgrounds at Presqe Isle in the late 90's. Moved to west coast Florida eight years ago.  Restarted the Lakewood Ranch Anglers club 5 years ago.  We started with 10 or 12 members now have close to 70.  Charter Captains love us as we give them lots of business.

Now live in Bradenton/Sarasota area just 2 hours from the Big O and 30 minutes from the Gulf.  Give me a yodel if you are in the area and we can share some stories and possibly an adult beveredge or two

Actually, this is the (I think) 3rd or possibly the 4th different format the boards are on. I believe it was 98 or 99 when they were first started, been here since. Account got screwed up so my date on this format isn't correct, should be early 2000 when they switched.

Nice to see some of the "ole fellas" still lurking. Run into some every now and then and see some all the time. Streamrunner is still around, but don't think he's online anymore.

Signed on in 2002 used to comment when I thought I could help someone. I to miss some of the early posting. Not going to say old timers I'd be in that class. Now I just read and laugh. Still some good info posted and I enjoy that. But over the years it seemed like one by one they all drifted away.

There will be days when fishing is better than ones optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Beerman, Did you sell the store and move to FL? Still have a Hobie? On rare occasions I use mine on the Allegheny. Good to see your posts. I read threads on occasion but don't often post unless I can help someone with information on French Creek or the river. Mike

I'm still here and have no intention of leaving.
I'm not the high blood pressure type, and I give as well as I take, so "tough guys"  have never been an issue for me

It's not uncommon for me to disappear for awhile...as the steelies leave the creeks, my interests turn to pistols and shooting sports .
I'm generally hanging out for the summer at my other girlfriend's house...the gun nutz discussion board

but  like the first few steelies that poke their nose in the creeks, I return here with them

I'm gonna miss gUroo if really got booted

Weren't we the original spot burners??
Good to know some of the old guys are still around to visit.
I guess that those young guys are now old and the old guys are really old and Walt's gotta be really really old.
Lots of intense and flame-heated discussions made this site an interesting place to visit. I kinda miss those times. It was like tuning into a fisherman's soap opera each day.
Met a lot of good people from this site. Even had the privilege to fish with a few of ya.
Still meeting a lot of cool people from this site and still picking up some good info once in a while.
