Birds Nests!!!!
I have this crazy Robin that built two nests with 3 eggs (each) on my porch in a steel antique large fish net, for weighing fish at sea port. Now she has a new nest with 3 eggs in a Easter basket I made into a flower pot hanging on the same porch!
The first two hatches went good with the babies (chicks), (peeps) grown to take care ov their self. I never knew a Robin would make 3 nests in one season, like a Dove, Sparrow, Starling or Pigeon?? Could it be because my yard is full ov Night Crawlers or is this common??
I have some pictures ov the first nest, before & after & am gonna take a few ov the one in the Easter basket.
You guys have any to share, Hummin' Birds r cool. Those Moth Hummers are purdy neat also.
Gotta sit next to the pond & start taking some photos for sure.
