I have been doing good at night in the big bend area. Wading and catching walleye and cats. I have only caught smallies during the daylight but I am not targeting them. Like you say you had better know where your going if your going to wade that area at night. Quite a few places go from 1 foot to 7 or 8 in one step.

    Howed you do Dave?
Below the dam at night is good. Throw rapalas into the seams and you never know what ya going to catch.

well i only spent about 10 minutes down there... i found the edge of the old bridge on my way down to the river and thought i was stepping on solid ground and ended up taking a bit of a tumble lol i caught 2 smallies by the bridge on a jitterbug but didnt venture down much further because of the softball sized bruise on my leg lol i think ill stick to daytime fishing down there from now on lol so far this year ive managed a 24 1/2 inch 22 inch and 18 inch walleye down there and 3 smallies over 18 inches all in the middle of the afternoon

I have caught muskie downstream from hamburg bridge. Nothing big and usually in the spring.
