Foam bugs

Wanted to try and tie a few hoppers with foam..
Here's my first couple attempts...
 

 

 

 
Fooled this creek chub....
 

 
 
Wasp and a Bunny Leech...

    Nice ties bingsy!  I like the first hopper and the bunny leach. I will PM my address to you so you know where to send a few dozen of each.

    That bunny leech is cash money.

    Awesome ties all around! I'm not a big fan of foam, but you've handled it nicely and produced some great looking flies!

    I scoured the whole house trying to find a couple pieces of craft foam to work with.
    I came across this dish full of glittery foam letters in my sons school supplies..
    Peal the back off and put 2 pieces together and it is about the right thickness..

    Right ON......

    never seen sparkly foam at the craft store......only the plane jane stuff......love craft stores.....although, the wife thinks I get a little more ****er with every visit.....
    always the pretty sparkly stuff for me

    Before the wife catches ya, price sheets of it at a craft store. Like $1.50 for a 9x12 sheet.

    Michaels always has it in some form not always in sheets. Hard Candy cosmetics has Lash Tinsel that's waterproof you could put on your flys somehow or if you really have money to blow Urban Decay's Heavy Metal Liner
