Kreamy, Some of the guy's on here like to make fun of people that fish from the"WAll". Make fun of people who may use their Duck hunt'n boots (camo) for fish'n. These guy's are mainly Catch and Release. If you keep fish and put it on the yellow stringer (K Mart) then you are really a low life. (My thoughts)You can keep half the fish and there will still be plenty left for them to catch. I will admit there are some really funny stuff to be seen on the "WALL". But I am not going to judge people by their gear or there cloths. Just their actions. I have seen some really nice people with junk rods and plenty of A**h***s with the whole uniform and fancy rods. In my time thru High School and all through my adult life, I have seen that people that make fun of others are very insecure.

My Wife said, if I go fish'n one more time, she'll leave me! God, I'm going to miss her!

My first steelhead rod was a 20 dollar Ebay special.  It worked great for me and caught a lot of fish.  I fish for just about all species and have never believed in the myth that you have to spend tons of money to catch fish.  I'm guessing fish don't know what brand of rod, reel, line, etc you use.  In certain situations I'm sure you would want to get better gear for what your targeting but for normal everyday fishing you don't.  I can spend my money in much more useful ways.

i like my gander mountain advantage series steelhead rod and my camo waders, ive fished only once on the "wall" and that was on sunday last weekend and the only reason i did that was because i cant seem to find much moving water around my way right now and i felt like going up and given it a shot because the weather had been cool for a couple days. I dont snag fish i dont keep fish, i dont fly fish because i have never tried, but will someday, everyone can judge me on here and honestly i could care a less, and then best part is if i see you in erie ill stand and bs with you like you were a life long friend, but thats just the kinda dude i am.

Kreamy, I don't think anyone was making fun of you. They were making their usual fun of people who wear camo boots, Nascar hats and use rope stringers. They have no idea that you have camo boots. I was just letting you know what the Yellow rope and camo boots comments were about.

Kreamy, sorry if you thought I was takin a shot.Just makin a joke. The start of this thread will explain. All the talk about the wall and people with camo waders and yellow rope. I fish with whatever I feel I can best catch a fish with and if camo waders were on sale I would buy them. If someone wants to keep a limit of fish, more power to them. If you view this site a lot ,you would see the comments and understand the vein of which I said it....WF

i picked on cold just like i do dr. trout, and him and I have had excellent stream experiences together.  Not that I would ever wish that w. the Doc himself unless I got my fleece pull-over, patched and all.

we could talk about picking up chicks if we stand by each other

haha, i dont mind talking about picking up chicks, there is a slight problem with chicks though since i got this thing on my finger it kinda turns them off a little bit, but its cool, i got a sweet wife she doesnt care when i go fishing or where, so cant complain, but i told her before this thing went on my finger that ill fish till the end so she better get used to it now

Had my chance on the 26th of August, went 0 for 3 on the hook-up ratio . Only time I was out, been too busy since. I figured today would have been good, but then the rain turned the streams to chocolate milk, so I slept in.

Don't worry though, I'll be bored of steelhead by late October like usual. Then all you dudes that love to freeze your @sses off can have at it.

Put some meat on those bones kid, then you'll love that cold winter fishing!

The look on peoples face would be priceless

The moment of truth. Where all other things unconsciously melt away from our minds the instant a fish takes our fly. We stand there on the water with wide eyes, caught in a battle stance with an idea of confidence and hope
