woodcock muskies

Any reports on the muskies at woodcock? haven'y been there in awhile and planning to go thur. & fri. of this week. from what i remember not much weeds there any advice would be helpful. thanks

    havnt been up a while myself but last time i was there were some decent weedbeds starting to come up

    we went up last weekend and there were lots of weeds. we didn't see any musky and didn't have any follows. did catch a big smallmouth. from what i've heard, the musky action doesn't heat up until mid august on woodcock.

    Been on woodcock twice in past 2 weeks, casting and trolling for muskys.
    One day it was cloudy and a cold front one in, one day it was sunny and hot. Both days we got skunked and no hits or follows. About 7 hours of fish time total.

    So its slow atm
