First frog

Well here is the shot on the frog pattern I found. It did not turn out the best but not bad for the first one. Sorry the pics are not the best...

Ok I have to give that a try...(stacking) I have to color some hair first and get some Bigger hooks and some better sizzors.I think it would look alot better if I could get the hair trimmed nicer. I Never really played with deer hair that much but it looks like I'm gonna start. That frog is to nice looking not to give it a try.

Well I got my hair dyed and it only took a little bit of time to do. I got brown ,green ,white, yellow and orange now its time to start stacking. I also played around with different ways to cut the hair and I found that small hair clippers do a real nice job. I think they are grooming clippers for your bread anyways they do a great job keeping the hair even

Time to go play around with stacking I'll post the results.

    That is very impressive!!

I am curious, how do you cast those things? They have got to be a chore to cast with anything less than a 10wt. None the less I am sure once they are out there they will take their fare share of bucketmouths.

Tank - very nice work there my friend. Don't know if you use a thin, double sided razor blade to trim the hair or not but it always helped me out. But then I never really attempted anything like what your doin. Again.....very nice!!

WOW, you are a natural with the hair ! I said with a little practice you would be there, and look at you. Fantastic job, I'm sure you know now how much you learn when you put one together, I mean it , this is good stuff. Make sure to mess around with those techniques so its etched into the memory banks
