Moreau Lake

Got out last night on Moreau Lake and the cooler weather got the bass hitting top water poppers.  Nothing big, but plenty of fun on ultra light tackle.  Did see a couple guys that had their limit of rainbows.  All we caught trolling with Christmas Tree rigs followed by spinners with a single hook and a nightcrawler.  Most of the rainbows were stockies unlike the nice ones you catch in the Fall on dry flies.
Hope all are doing well with the cooler weather.  I know I will enjoy working the plate tonight @ Argyle for my baseball game after having 98 degrees with 93% humidity over the weekend.

    You fishing again Ed?  Must need some more fertilizer for that garden of yours.  That's about all those whoppers you catch are good for!

    At least my bass are caught after the third Saturday in June and not during the second Saturday in June to eat.  Also, all my fish are returned to the water unharmed!

    You're just jealous cause you haven't caught any big ones this year!!   BTW, I don't think you should rate "Expert Angler" on this site.

    You are correct!  Pro Angler would be more appropriate!
