SOLD 1996 Starcraft Islander 191 for sale
1996 19.5' Starcraft Islander, bought new in 1997: 3.0 Liter inline 4 cyl. 130HP Mercruiser I/O, with 15HP, 4 stroke Merc Kicker motor. This is a clean boat that has been well maintained. The boat and trailer have always been stored indoors during the winter months. The boat includes: brand new Lowrance HDS-7 Insight with a duel frequency transducer 53/200khz and GPS with the new LSS-1 Structure Scan, a Marine Radio, AM/FM stereo, compass, water separating fuel filters, spare prop, new re-built carbeurators in 2009, two marine batteries, 30 gal. live well, mooring cover. The boat is equipped with 2 electric Cannon Mag 10 downriggers with swivel bases, Bert's 12" Custom Tackle track system with 4 ratcheting rod holders & another 2 rod holders I can't think of the name. Both motors run great. Porta Potti in cuddy cabin. It has new new tires (including the spare) last year. Being aluminum its easy to tow & SUPER easy on fuel being a 4 cylinder. I topped off all of last year twice, I took it out 8 times. Previous owner had it out 12-15 times. The kicker motor is direct fuel lined into the main tank and throttle is at the helm next to the seat. There is an E Z Steer. It does have a swimming platform to step in & out of. Has a full canvas cover for boat as well as canopy for sunny days. Will have a couple life jackets. Has a spare prop for main engine. 2 batteries (1 main, 1 aux). Trailer is a 1999 bunk with guide poles on sides with running lights and turn signals on top of poles & standard on back of trailer. I will be keeping the 4 Bert's rod holders & electric downriggers for my next bigger boat, but leaving the swivel bases and tracks & electronics. Please email me for more info & pictures, serious inquiries only please! Located in Erie, PA. steve052471@aol.com

frind of mine got one around the same year but he has a v6 makes it heavy in the stern the 4cyl is better loose a few pound and mph but handles better that 4cyl is good on gas but like a v6 or inline has a hard time getting down to 550 rpm or less speed may need adjusted by bags/buckets/plates or useing a 15hp kicker good looking boat hope you get what you want looks clean you have live wells on also his only complaint is his cable went bad and windshield leaks but he rubs elbos with me and i got him by 10ft and 3tons

nope never used the live wells, always had a cooler to throw the fish into. The livewell lines get winterized every year though regardless.

this last picture shows the new HDS 2D sonar transducer on the right, the speed paddle wheel in the middle, and then the new LSS-1 Structure Scan transducer on the left.

yes the HDS-7 with Insight is new and also the Structure Scan. Google it if you do not know what Structure Scan is. That was $1,900 plus labor right there.
