hmm

ill have to eventually post a pic for proof but my dad was on french creek on sunday and caught a 30+ inch flathead early morning on a tube jig . just wonder if anyone else does this often . ive only got one that big and that was at about 2 am on cut rock bass . dont get me wrong i know for sure bigger ones exist but i thougght this was nice

    we catch quite a few on lures through out the year rarly anything large but if it goes past them they will bite it

    my biggest channel ever came on a #9 floating rapala.  we have picked them up on hot n tots and wee warts trolling for eyes also.

    Daughter got a big flat on a hotntot.Had to use long pliers it was so far done its throat !

    Flatheads prefer live bait so they will attack lures pulled by them. Many channelcats are caught on all types of lures. In the Susky 25 years ago , I caught loads at night stripping huge muddler minnow flies just under the surface when the white miller hatch was on......WF

    I caught a few channel cats on lures. You have to put it right in front of them but they will attack it a lot of the times
