    i really like that the hook keeper is below the reel. i dont know y that caught my attention but it did. i often carry my rods where the hook keep is when walkin or wading around creeks and streams, and it would be nice not to have the risk of putting a hook into my palm

    Tossed it in a pool on Sunday (without the reel).  It floated.  Now I have to strap 7oz of lead on the grip and see if it would float the reel too.
