Conneaut perchin

Went up on tuesday to do some perchin but the bite was real slow. Picked up 9 keepers in over 4 hours. Moved 5 times too. Decided to do some rockbass fishing and did okay. Also caught and released 6 good sized smallmouth. Here's my catch.

Nice catch Chauncy! We sat on piles of perch in Erie on Sunday....couldn't make em bite. Looks like you did real well.

I couldn't find them that day. One or two, here and there. Thats why i decided to do the rockbass fishing. Those buggers pull way harder than the perch. Put them in the freezer cause i had some gills ready to fry. May head up tomorrow morning to try perch again but wont overlook those rockbass on my way back in. If i get some, i'm frying them up that day.

went out today. Waves were around 2 to 3ft at 10:00 when we headed out. Laid down pretty good as the morning went on. Went out to 72ft where the jackass from snugharbor told us they were and they were actually there. Got a two man limit in less than 4 1/2 hrs. Had to do some sorting tho. No emeralds but the goldens did just fine. Guy charged us $4. a dz tho.
