Wading for eyes

thinking about heading up to erie late sat night to do some wading for walleyes. problem is i have never fished for walleye from shore up there. i have always went out on my grandfathers boat. any suggestions on where i should go. i would apreciate any help i could get

    Check the wind anything coming from the North gonna make for a wet evening.

    fish off ledges and creek mouths where it goes from deep to shallow quick..you dont need to fish popular locations to catch eyes, just the guts to find your own spot
