Ideas for other tactics for Walleye.

Been fishing Elk Creek and Trout Run for Walleye the past week.  Wading in at Trout Run and fished from my boat at Elk Creek.  Crush fished some nights on F-18 Firetiger or Flourscent Pattern and on other night been shutout.  Both trollling and casting, mainly had luck on casting.  Curious to see if anyone tries fishing with minnows, worms, and uses crawler harnesses out on their boats?  Does anyone seem to notice the fish like the bright green or yellow patterns as opposed to a black shiner pattern F-18.  Last year caught the Eyes on the black shiner pattern.

One night it's hot, the next it sucks. That's just the way it is. Water temp is real important. Don't even bother unless the lake is like 60 degrees or better. Blue/silver, black/silver,firetiger,trout and brown trout have all produced for me in the past at one time or another. Don't be afraid to switch em' up if your not gettin any.

If it were'nt for venitian blinds...it would be curtains for all of us!!

I was down at Trout Run on Thursday night from 8-10:30 tossing F-18 rainbow trout. I had one hit which of course took all of my expertise to miss. Especially since it hit as I was lifting the lure out of the water. Except for moss and grass, that was all I got. I spoke to one man who came up all the way from bedford. I really wish he had a better night of it. Long way to come to get skunked.
