Winchester Big-Bore 94 .375 WIN for sale

Winchester Lever Action Rifle - Big Bore 94  XTR - .375 WIN caliber with Lyman 3 x 9 - 38 scope.   All sighted in and ready to hunt. This rifle shoots a reasonably tight group at 100 yards, 1-2".   Excellent condition.  Beautiful stock.  This gun is only about 37 1/2 " long.   After about 4 hours of deer hunting and your rifle starts to feel like you're carrying a cannon, this light weight 7 lb carbine is nice to have.  This model & caliber was manufactured starting in 1978 by Winchester and later the company that bought out Winchester, USRAC up until about 1983. The .375 Winchester caliber was also manufactured by Marlin briefly in the early 80's and they got out after only about 20,000 sold. Not sure how many Winchester XTR's in .375 were actually sold by Winchester. Can't put my hands on the number. The XTR was an improvement they made in midstream allowing the empty shells to be ejected upward and to the right which allowed this gun to be scoped. But it is a tough gun to find. An old shootin buddy from Leechburg has reloaded this caliber for me over the years, in fact he has done all of my rifle reloads (.30-06, .22-250, 7mm mag, .375 Win) except the .444 Marlin which he won't touch. I can put you in touch with him. $600 includes a box and a half of ammo, including some very precise reloads. Greensburg area. PM me.   More photos available.

Hi, my name is Mark Staples. I was wondering if it might be possible for you to hold on to that gun for a little while. My dad has to sell his to make a truck payment and he ain't very happy about it. So I want to get him a replacement.

Just a FYI-- my youngest son bought a  .356 Cal in a Marlin presentation grade for peanuts from a guy who got it as a gift from a factory employee and didnt want it. Bout 20 yrs ago. ABSOLUTE fantastic knockdown power.
Heard it was made for hard hitting Sheep at long range on Mts in far north ?????  When ya find the expensive ammo buy a coupla boxes cause it aint always around -but it is WELL worth the effort.

One of the best deer stoppers I have ever shot---
