Rod Repair

Not sure if it is possible, but anyone know a good way to repair a broken rod? I have a St. Croix Imperial 4 piece and the rod snapped where the first two sections connect so that part of the second piece is stuck in the first piece connector. No guides were broken and even though St. Croix has the good warranty i would rather get around the 35 bucks and shipping if there is an easy way. I really dont mind losing a few inches on the rod if i can save some money.

Nick

I love catching 20 inch trout...in 10 inch intervals:)

the $35 you'll pay st croix for a brand new stick is worth it duud.
a repaired rod, even if repaired by the eloquent skills of Skipper wont perform like it should.
i sent in one last fall that was snapped in half.

brand new one in a pretty plastic tube in a week.

     pay the man.
