Finally getting up to Erie

Hello all. Well, it looks as if I will be headed up to Presque this weekend. I can't wait. I was wondering if they are shallow or still a bit deep. Thanks in advance as this will save me a lot of time searching water.

From what I saw 2 weeks ago: Park. Pick a spot. Fish.

Was pretty miserable conditions, but we still managed a few fish. With better conditions now, you might be in for a good weekend to be in Erie. :) Good luck!

Welcome to the board Duud...when you post here, expect 40% positive...40% negative...and 20% jibberish. Accept the positive, ignore the negative, laugh at the jibbererish.

On the real though......I've had opportunity to fish with alot of these duuds, never...anywhere...have I met so many stand up, generous, good hearted guys. Enjoy!

    bb67,

Could you post a report on how you did?  Was interested in knowing how it is.  I am not interested in spots and such, just an idea of the variety of the fish you caught.  I am going to try next week.  Thanks!

    Best of luck to you!

Whoo Hoo!....2 new guys in one day? Is it Christmas? Full moon?

    Welcome Duud!

PS. The "variety" of fish in Erie is second to none....anything could happen with every cast.

    Mr. Slickfish,

Thanks for the welcome.  That is what I hear from my friends from up there.  I am hoping for a Pike or two, but mostly wishing to catch some jumpin' bass.

Well, mon and tues seem to be shaping up. Other than the adage "a bad day fishing....." I'm wondering if you guys think the weather will have been stabile long enough to attempt a run up. Have a friend footing the bill in exchange for some remodeling help, and he's itching regardless.Senseless post I believe as we will give it a shot regardless, I suspect.
