PI State Park

Hit PI Bay for the first time today.
Did some wading with a couple other board members in the Bay.
Fishing was good everybody had hookups.
My best was a 28" Northern and followed that with 3 small Bass..
What a beautiful place to spend a day fishing....
Sure was nice to finally meet some of you guys.
Slickfish, Deetz, Bloodyhand, 6point7 will share water with you gents anytime...They even let the new guy catch the first fish.
Here's a couple pics..

Deetz working the morning with the flyrod....

The gangs all here....

Hooked up.....

Gettin the skunk off..( I think deetz outfished us all.)

Even got into some crappies...  well 1 small one, anyway...

Found this guy hangin out in the weeds..

    Bings -

Awesome story. Glad to see you enjoy time on PI. Water that I take for granted. But it's always a great place to fish, PI Bay has never let me down.

I had allota fun today....always fun to share water with my "regular" crew...

Even more fun to share "my" water with a duud who ain't been there before. Like rookie said, I take my back yard for granted. Twas nice to see someone really appreciate that water. It gave me a new appreciation for it.

Bings seems to have a true love of the the water, the surroundings, and the whole experience.

Truly a pleasure to fish with/meet you....you have an open invite sir, join us again soon.

While the fishing was decent today, another week or three....It'll be on FIRE!
