where is everyone?
It was opening day!!!! lmao.. , I am busy with a bathroom project and other jobs lined up for at least two weeks  I am going up to the nev and my friends want to try a secret crappie spot on saturday! I feel blissed ,, where the hell is bb and jn and rj and the rest ?.. lmao ..i'm all wined up here as i type.. tomorrow night i'm going to rig up for both spooni ng and floats for them crappies! hope all is fine up north considering the bs obama plans

busy with things. lake george was impossible to fish with the wind last week. hopefully this week. also lookin for a few days at a brookie pond. pictures will be up after im done with break, hopefully there will be pics worth sharing!
hope everyone else is all good, and catching lots of fish in secret.

We hit the flooded shorelines of a few spots we thought we could reach, the floating stick debri made minimal shoreline for floating our bait. We caught a dozen SM we returned safely, not one crappie  another cove released a bt,, it was slow opener overall.. I have a busy work week ahead,hoping to aqueeze in another this coming early April weekend.

been a roofer the last few days. will finish up tomorrow with help a little from my friend . then we'll will put the canoe in to catch some of these out back :  Go get em' Ship !!

Nice fish tuna! Went out to lake george for a few days trying for the salmon and lakers. eneded up catching a dozen smallies all over 17" and between 3-4.5 lbs. And me and blitz got skunked at PP a few days ago. targeting bass on artificals catch and release only of course.

PP ?? head up the hills look for specks So cool you cats are puttin in some road miles .. Gotta love the north country .. Linesiders from the canoe were on Tap today.. Some saltwater species were landed but bronzbacks ruled .. Now all heck breaks loose !! Live free , fish hard !!!

Nice opener RJ! DEFINITELY QUALITY UPSTATE FISHING NY YOU!..I'm heading up tomorrow for my big APRIL FIRST!!!!!! finished my remodeling bathroom job finally..got my flyrods/trolling rods/casting/bait rods//packing for at least a grand three day tour in the cats res and streams dude!!!! wish all is well..I will be solo play and loving it!!!hehehe

Guys, I caught fish as usual, I also Have a change of thought about posting images anymore.. I also think it is time for me to drop this account. I just do not like written warnings for not wearing my vest and in that the DEP demands from me my phone number..I mean whtf is next?...!!!! The certified bait I purchased was in question because the bait store put a store stamp type of baitfish /quanity and the date of purchase..and yet i was still interigated to the point where i got alittle too nervous with this young dep guy..it kind of ruined the mode for the day. In truth, I am not comfortable sharing info here anymore either. I hate pigs/spy pigs etc. to be perfectly honest! I do not support what I see going on in the drink! to all be aware that the state is desperate for money and will be making more stupid game rules to screw people who imho will no doubt screw it all for the rest of us! take care! backins last and final post

79 : brother this one time I concur with eagleed, "Hope you will reconsider" It does seem like you had some bad rubs and venting them is understandable. Honestly I don't think the fish, water or whatever cops are monitoring fishing discussions ( well maybe the leech cops ). We fish a TON and rarely have altercations.. Here is my take.. Location !! if you tend to fish high profile or popular locations then they will get more attention from public service.. I see it and always be aware as possible.. You know .. wear the lifejacket At any point it still comes down to a reminder or ticket.. Reminder good , ticket not .. Many cops are cool.. At least Up ^ North here things are still as they have always been.. You know your welcome to share water with me anytime From my little crik sunday ..  Peace & Tuna

Funny 69 nobody else here fish..
You got some Phatty smallies there..
We have only been catchin spawned out bronzbacks.. Plenty of them but thin..
Carp .. 15lb +
Drum .. 6>7 lbs
Golden Shiner's (new to me) ... 2 lbs
also today a sucker, perch & herring were all released

tuna its up to us to keep this forum alive i guess.  that golden should go right into the freezer for giant pike pike bait. (no comment on legality) got any stories to share perch? went to glass in the kayak for a few yesterday in search of trout. managed many strikes but none landed. did get a few big gills, pickerel, and a pair of real healthy largies. possibly heading up North for a few days this weekend.

69: It does become tough when so many options open up.. Brookie ponds are opened up early this year and so are the stripers. Next month throw in a turkey and it gets crazy. We just came off the river again, folks are catching them.. not me yet however.. at least I can say I have been fishing every week since dec-13 2009.. (pic's to prove it )  I'm staying with the stripers for another 2 weeks then heading to the hills.. Good luck in where ever you go.
