CONNEAUT LAKE CHANNELS

Dinner plate sized crappies... If you can keep your bait away from the pike .. not to mention the gills..can't wait till this place turns on.. NW/

    We were up on Geneva yesterday, water was high as can be, but there was no ice to be found anywhere.

    I commend you on your enthusiasm and willingness to share info on this site but must also condemm you for spot burning.
    Although this is by no means a secret spot IT IS however PRIVATE PROPERTY.
    Post like these are what get property posted. Think about it next time you post a specific spot.

    Making a general observation here. When i read this thread my first thought was fishing it by boat, in which case would not make you trespassing. I do see the flip side of people fishing from shore. Just showing the other side of the coin here.

    While it might be taken as a spot burn, if it is widely known than ...hmmm its a grey area. I would take that like someone saying the steelhead are in elk creek, the worst case of spot burn and what i measure all others was the one few years back on cascade creek with photos of fish in the river and no one fishing, the next day everyone was there. But interpret as you will, just my .02$

    Gotta say I also thought he meant fishing by boat. Guess it could go either way.....

    the channels on the northern tip of the lake arn't the only ones there are others but i'm not going to tell... besides people have been trespassing on that area for more years than i can remember , and i can remember being the only one out of ten or more guys that actually had permission to be there from the previous landowner before he sold it ,and i only had permission the last four years that i fished there before he sold to snowwater development , now nobody i've talked to can say whats going on with that property , maybe the lawyers know . as for spot burning if you fish this area very much they're arn't any secret spots so many people fish this place that untill the jetski's start that you can't keep a spot secret ,as soon as you have you're second fish in the boat you have 15 mupeers surrounding you , if that's not burnt i don't know what burnt is!
