Looking for colored jig bodies/grubs

I have been looking nonstop lately for 3-4" curly tailed grubs with white bodies, red tails.  Nothing on ebay, cabela's, gander mountain,****s...etc.  Maybe I should look into pouring my own.  Is the plastic readily available?

I don't know about the availability of the plastic but there are now dyes available to change the colors of the plastics... I haven't used any of it yet, maybe someone else on here has. Available through at least one large outdoor store you named. Don't know if FishErie carries any of it... But that should allow you to do what you want. (if the dyes are any good). Anyone here ever use it yet?

The white/firetail is what you are looking for.

Spike it makes some good dyes for plastic including a red and if you are even using it on a white body it will work even better.

Stcroix, I picked up a few colors of the 'spike it' last month with the hopes of it allowing a little more versatility on the water w/o having to buy bags and bags of expensive baits that end up being a color the fish don't like. I got mostly white body baits to make them easier to color. Some days the fish just won't hit anything that isn't the 'color of the moment'.... glad to hear someone else has had some experience with them... Karen

^^^ Looks like Bing beat me to it. I was down at the Wheeling Cabela's earlier today, and they had them.
White/fire tail is the pattern name. If you aren't close to the store and don't mind paying shipping they have em on the web site too. It's a sure fire way.

    I'd rather be fishin...

Check out this site, too. I started pouring my own about two years ago. It is really easy, inexpensive and rewarding. Plus you can make anything you want. Let me know if you need any more information or help getting started...
