i use fusion line instead of braid on my ultra light spin reels for light lures 3/8oz.and less.. been happy using 6# fireline but want to compare it to new lines.. has anyone tried sufix braid high performance yet? ..now i see sufix is out with a newer braid fuse line.. anyone?

The Sufix HP Braid is a good line but I still prefer 6# Fireline in most situations. Fireline holds up better around rocks than the braids do. I like the Sufix braid in heavier weights for bassin around weeds but it loses it's color faster than Power Pro. Never used the Sufix Fuse but will give it a try sometime soon.

I love my sufix braid and sufix in general makes some good line. Curious how the new stuff is. If you are using braid for rocks then you are choosing the wrong line. Braid is abrasive resistant but not with rocks.
