Winter review...

A slow start for me this year, a few friends called it the "Winter of the Esox" - only one came through the hole for me this year nothing to brag about ...



Then came the first Bass of the year (still after Esox) ....


Well after that trip I took a lil break from the Pike chase and decided to Panfish for a while, had mixed results.
I sat home one night and thought hard on what to pursue - LAKERS !
From ole haunts to new places ... it was the one fish that I couldn't keep off the hook...
Five trips - over 70 iced and lost even more...









After loosing too many fish trying to get a pic of them under the ice, I put the cam on video - stuck it between my knees and this is what came out ....

    Jeff, that shot of a reeling in a laker under the ice is simply awesome.. my congrats! hopefully this trout opening season and rest of 2010 we all find more time to enjoy our great american outdoors
