ICE FISHING TOURNAMENT #2

Timberland Bait Shop is holding a second tournament!

Saturday Feb 27 6am to 4pm
Free lunch served at noon sharp (first come first serve)
$10 for adults $5 for kids under 12

    i didn't have any.  there was a big write up in the Meadville news about it with some good pics.  thanks to all the 280+ participants who fished the two day event last weekend.  hope to see you there for this one too.

    Jerry, I'm gonna need some blades sharpened...  ever think about having someone on duty for the tourneys that can do it?  Just an idea.  The very last hole I drilled last Sunday ended up being in only 5 inches of water, and the ice was full of grit.  It dulled my brand new Eskimo to a darn near perfect butter knife edge.  Blades up north are nearly impossible to come by right now, so you might be able to get some takers if you know someone.  I'll try to call tomorrow.

    ps - the boy can't wait for Saturday morning.

    There is a good solid 12 inches of ice. I also have plenty of hand auger blades 6, 7, 8. Also lazer blades. The Bait shop will  be open every day this week Wed. 8am to 3:30, Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 10 pm,  
    Saturday 5am to 7pm. Sunday 8am to 3pm. Hope to have a great turn out for the tourny! And yes it's defintly worth 10 bucks, I feed everyone for free! It's a great time! Thanks, Jerry:)
