For the bowhunter, this means titanium tough and smaller diameter equals better penetration.

the new Titanium Rage has unsurpassed durability and strength for shot-after-shot success.

At least they are addressing issues, that some say don't exist.

$85 is a bit silly. But so is $2.79 a gallon.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

Rage blades are cheap, everyone I have ever seen go threw a deer was bent to crap, now they correct the problem and double the money, sounds like a joke to me. I'll stick to any G5 head, steel constructed and the toughest head on the market, plus the new tekan looks unreal.

The Lord has blessed us all today... It's just that he has been particularly good to me.

It's just like the changing styles in womens dresses, they have to change something every year to keep the hunters interest and their wallets open for the latest and greatest. They went as big as they could to get all the mileage out of huge blood trails, now they will start going smaller for the deeper penetration. Before long my Bear razors will be back in style again. Glad I kept them.

I shot the 2 blade tekan the last 2 years. Killed a buck and a doe with them last season, and a buck this season...none of which left my sight. The blades were still pretty sharp after the shots. As far as mechanicals go, I'd say they're as good as it gets.

I haven't been let down by the rage 2 blades yet and none of the guys I hunt with have either. I dont take any high risk shots so that could be why? If I ever had problems I would go back to the good old Muzzy fixed 2 blades.

Wouldn't trade my rage's for anything. Probably won't buy titanium UNLESS they are lifetime warranty like the Steel Forces used to be.

Indians killed deer, elk, and buffalo with rocks and sticks for centuries. To think you need to spend 85 bucks on a broadhead is overkill. I can't imagine the difference in performance is worth an extra $50, unless deer start wearing flak jackets. Spending money doesn't improve your hunting ability, but a lot of guys feel the need for "the best" equipment.

If you are well practiced, patient, and have good sense of deer anatomy, you'll kill deer regaurdless of your broadhead. I've taken deer with the cheapest fixed blades and newer more expensive expandables and they end up just as dead either way. Unless they invent a "heart seeking" broadhead I won't be upgrading any time soon.

    Just my $.02

I completely agree. 85 dollars is absurd. Hell, even 40 dollars is absurd. I'll save my money, and practice enough that I can kill deer with any broadhead.
