What constitutes a prize winning crow? Maybe I'm naive, but they all kinda look the same to me.

    Hahaha...

That would be a good one...

    Biggest beak !

Here is what is on the website...

    Winners Determined By Ticket Drawing
Turn In Crows and Get A Ticket For Each Crow
Winners Then Pulled From Ticket Pool
Each Crow turned in will get the team member(s) a ticket for the drawing.
All tickets will be dropped in a hat, and three winners will be drawn.
This allows hunters who are not as well equipped for hunting crows to compete in the hunt.

    Thanks for asking though...

It is alot of fun !

for the online check ins it seems to be someone could start shooting crows now since there since there isnt a limit, and then be accounted for into a pictuure with the key..so its an advantage for those online...yes i know crows are online in season fri sat and sun, but if someone new the date prior they could be shooting one here and there all week long in a back yard or what not...i like the idea just seems like it could be easlily cheated apon to get more tickets in the box...i may have just ruined the contest by saying that.......

    Hey Bull:

There is no way to stop cheating... If someone really wants to cheat they are going to try it...

The arguments over cheating surround coyote hunts every year, and I know people will try it all the time...

There are alot of people out there though that know what the truth is, and some times they step up and 'inform' us...

If you are that hard up to cheat on a crow hunt, and ruin your reputation forever, some thing is wrong...

There are guys who were outed for cheating at some of these coyote hunts and they were lucky enough to get away with some skin still left on them... They were permanently banned from ever setting foot in that particular club, and word spread like wild fire and they were afraid to even show their faces again...

Some guys can get violent when they find out they've been cheated, if some one is going to cheat, and run the risk of having to look over their shoulder for some stupid crows... It really is not worth it...

ha. it sounds like you pointed to me like i was going to cheat on a crow hunt. thanks.
If you are that hard up to cheat on a crow hunt, and ruin your reputation forever, some thing is wrong...
the simple statement would have been "yeah i can see that happening in this type of contest. We try our best, cant do much about the online checks though"

Unless you were using "you" as a general pronoun, i'd say you are directing that towards me. If you ment it as " If someone,..." then i wouldnt be typing back to you.

I was simply saying to you or whoever has the contest its kinda DUMB to have a photo picture for the "honor" system. Should be all check in, even if it is "stupid" "Crows" which they arent "stupid" in any means. Guess that would mean rule out the state wide... The only neat about it is anyone can do it, the not so smart is state wide but im sure it generates more revenue for the contest and makes it more profitable that way. As the contest holder i can see that way.

and i was also saying since i said that someone might have got a bright idea to try what i said. i never entered any kinda contest so you wont have to worry about me in it Tom. and i wouldnt think about cheating dickhead.

grouchy keep up the good work, no many fun hunting tournaments in our area. i understand what you were saying--if YOU are that hard up to wind a contest. bull, that refers to any moron that thinks as you did, honestly just to point that out on a website you deserve to be in that category. picture this the local news suddenly comes on a news break and says there is a riot in downtown eburg, your going to have every lowlife scum running there to get in the act. YOU was refering to anyone who thought as YOU did...

YOU referring to bigtrout, shouldnt even need to jump in and act like your some intelligent person. As he was responding to my post saying "you" to me. so how could "you" not take it he wasnt referring to "me".

That make any sense or would you be downtown eburgh running around to get attention...

Well first of all Bull, any decently intelligent person can see that grouchy did not mean you personally would cheat. my 2 day old niece would know that. and im not quite sure where you get the nerve to critisize big trout for his grammar abilities maybe you should invest in a spell check for yourself because you're no miracle speller by a third graders means.
