I would like to take a float trip down the Pa.waters frenchcreek.also what might i catch.

    Be advised that French Creek is very, very low. You will spend a goodly amount of time walking your watercraft through riffles.

    Not sure what parts are "very low" but from Chchranton south there is plenty of water and decent fishing.

    BTW, the OP has never said what area he wants to fish.  That might be helpful.
