    Not gonna lie, been lurkin IceShanty a lot, but miss seein some local fish. If I could finally figure out how to post ill throw up some eye candy.

    I personally think gasoline prices rising over 3 dollars a gallon again is going to slow down the fishing pressure upstate. I suspect many are feeling the mid winter doldrums compounded with scarcity of paying jobs, higher oil prices,inflation, threat of another terror attack or great depression is keeping more inside the house rather adventuring to some far off mt lake in the backwoods. It is no surprise how many are just plain disqusted as the economy continues to worsen going into 2010. I won't blame them for deciding to move on.. I have enough my owm problems dealing with the real world.. i come here to relax and enjoy a bit of whatever.. fishing is what it is all about, sharing fishing experiences,technics and what is most rewarding imo, sharing the same passion for the great outdoors.. nothing wrong with keeping secret fishing spots and so I can somewhat agree that these forums might not be suited in the best interests of certain parties or individuals. look at this tie!!!! min 28 no 28 !!!! IT IS LOOKING OT!!!!!! lol
