4 days on the SR

just walked in from fishing dsr today from 6am until 2pm today
all i can say is tuff,tuff,tuff day
i was up in dsr fri,sat & sun while there was way more people there were also more fish
today they have migrated upstream
we started down low today and moved way up by 10am only to walk back down and hope for some incoming fish
as of 2pm it never happened
very few fish in the dsr anywhere today
the sucker holes were mostly empty
at least it was a great day to be on the water uncrowded
 
P.S.
i used a totally unweighted low water fly w/wff line
it worked just fine
please don't respond but i can not understand why folks had 2 heavy shots on their "fishing" lines  / just don't get it and never will.

    Come on Tuna, you know why. You just don't want to believe it. Actually, I think with the low flows, that much weight made it harder for them to "fish" the way they wanted to.

    The heavy shot is BS!  They have all these silly rules about shot placement lengths, etc and then you see these dudes chuckin these 2 ounces of lead into slow moving gin clear water - are you kidding me????? pathetic!
