Courtland Precision Tropic Floating

Has anyone used this for Steelhead?  I bought a reel that came preloaded with this line and I am soliciting opinions on the line.

Thanks,
Mike.

    Mike,

That line is a warm water flats line...no good for colder water. Too much memory. It will not be fun to fish for Steel with that line.

Get yourself one of the RIO or Cortland cold water lines: http://www.fishusa.com/FlyLines_c.html

Thanks Eric.  I actually called Cortland yesterday to talk with them about it and they concurred with your exact statement above - too much memory.  In the cold it would get wirey.
