Stripping baskets

I'm in the market for a stripping basket & was wondering if anyone out there might have any recommendations.  I've been looking at a couple different styles from Orvis, LL Bean, and William Joseph to name a few.  I think I like the look of the William Joseph stripping basket the best.  Anyone out there use this one or have any input about it?

Any suggestions or input will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks for the help!

Is this the one you are refering to?

Mesh baskets do one thing.  Tangle your line.   why?  They don't keep water out therefore the line is constantly moving.  I guess it depends on how deep you are wading.  More than a few inches of water in the WJ basket, you'll be untangling more than fishing.  It may look pretty but it doesn't function properly.

Solid baskets are clunky but do the job.

You can make your own w/ nothing more than a plastic basket of similar size and a bungee cord. If you go w/ a factory made solid basket drill a couple of holes in the base away from your side to get rid of any extra water. I've also stuck a fly holding foam on one side to help dry flies once you start to change them.

I can see it now.  Clothes line, and a cat litter box.  Kinda throws off the catalog look I've been working on.

And if you use the automatic litter box you can clean the line between each cast. Warning do not forget to remove the cat parts.
